Ryan Paul

Ryan is a sophomore majoring in Public Relations with minors in Event Management and Cinema Production. He is from Woodbridge, VA (NOVA) and aspires to use his knowledge and experiences to work on and eventually direct events such as the Super Bowl, Concerts, Olympic Ceremonies, Black Entertainment Media/Events, Award Shows, and so much more.

A fun fact about Ryan is that his interests in events and cinematic experience was birthed after he saw Beyoncé's - Formation World Tour through pictures, videos, and behind-the-scenes content. After watching what it took to put on an event and production like that Ryan became interested in large-scale events, especially events that are centered around the Black Experience.

Throughout, Ryans first few semesters at Virginia Tech Ryan has been involved in opportunities such as but not limited to Student Engagement Coordinator of a Residential College, Programming Committee of the Big Event, Assistant Director of Programming for the Homecoming Board of VT, Student Staff Leader for the Black College Institute, and a Resident Advisor for the Leadership & Social Change Residential College. Ryan is looking forward to engaging and working with the BCC throughout the rest of this semester!
