Native at VT Spring Powwow

Image from Virginia Tech Spring Powwow 2017

Native at Virginia Tech hosted its first powwow on campus in the spring of 2017. It has since become an annual tradition that the campus community and student organization are very proud of. The powwow highlights the diverse cultures of Native peoples within the Commonwealth of Virginia. We have also enjoyed participation from Native communities throughout the entire southeast region of the country and beyond. The powwow features Indigenous arts and crafts, Native dance exhibitions, and music. We encourage you to attend this year on April 6, 2019.
