Near Peers

The Near Peers program is a student mentoring program that connects sophomore, junior, and senior students who are engaged with Native@VT and/or involved with the American Indian and Indigenous Community Center’s (AIICC) programming with freshman Native and Indigenous Virginia Tech students. Those serving as Near Peers provide mentorship and academic assistance to students acclimating to college life away from family members and home.
