Academic Support Services
Academic Support Services exists as a partnership between the American Indian and Indigenous Community Center (AIICC) and the academic support offices of the College of Agriculture and Life Sciences (CALS) and the College of Natural Resources and Environment (CNRE). The purpose of this program is to improve access to tutoring and educational success programs for Native and Indigenous students in their respective colleges. Academic support staff will work with Native and Indigenous students to understand how foundational courses fit into their overall curriculum, prepare students for graduate school or succeeding on the job market. Undergraduate tutors who are funded through CALS and CNRE work to support students’ academic success.
This part of the project is still in development. Please check back at the end of Spring 2022 to learn more.
