Gia Ha

Gia Ha (she/her) joined the Cultural and Community Centers in June 2024 and serves as the Wellness Coordinator for the Asian American and Native American Pacific Islander Serving Institution (AANAPISI) Initiative at Virginia Tech, where she facilitates programs related to wellness and student leadership development. She also advises the Graduate Asian Pacific Islander Desi Association and is a member of the APIDA Caucus and LGBTQ+ Caucus. *new paragraph* Gia grew up in Falls Church, VA and has been at Virginia Tech since 2021. She is passionate about increasing wellness and sustainable community development. Gia earned her Master’s in Civil Engineering (Sustainable Land Development) in Fall 2023 and her Master’s in Urban and Regional Planning in May 2024 from Virginia Tech. In her free time, Gia Ha enjoys gardening, nature photography, biking, and kayaking with her spouse and their pups Matcha and Mango.
