Alicia Aldaz

Alicia Aldaz (she/her) is an enrolled member of the Monacan Indian Nation of Amherst County Virginia. She joined the AANAPISI Initiative in February 2024 and serves as the Administrative and Wellness Coordinator. She is an active member of the Indigenous Faculty Alliance and supports the Indigenous student community in her spare time with her knowledge of traditional Indigenous sewing and beading techniques. Alicia Aldaz is most excited to help the APIDA + Center and Ati: Wa:oki Indigenous Community Center stay organized with the AANAPISI Initiative while supporting the Cultural Community Centers with Wellness Programs.
