Tanya Rogers
Tanya Rogers earned her bachelor's degree at the University of Georgia and her master's degree at Jerusalem University College in Jerusalem, Israel. She has worked as an educator since 1999, teaching in a wide range of settings from elementary schools to universities. She began her career teaching at Oral Roberts University in 1999 where she taught various subjects in both general education and the honors program. Most recently, Tanya has been teaching at the Roanoke Higher Education Center, helping individuals who are working on receiving their high school diplomas and equivalencies. Tanya also works with Be the Bridge, an organization focused on anti-racism work and racial justice, where she facilitates discussions on racial healing across racial communities. She has a passion for justice and sharing her heart regarding reconciliation. Her hobbies include gardening, reading, and traveling.
